No serious offer yet for El Mala amid England links

Despite reports that Said El Mala's family has approved a potential move to Brighton & Hove Albion, 1. FC Köln sporting managing director Thomas Kessler states no serious offer has been made for the 19-year-old. The Seagulls' reported €35 million plus add-ons bid falls short of Köln's valuation.

According to Kessler, the initiative lies with Köln as El Mala is under contract until 2030, and the player currently focuses on avoiding relegation with the club. Chelsea have also been mentioned as suitors, while the player's family reportedly rejected an approach from Newcastle United.
