Judge Confident of Yankees Return After Rib Injury

Yankees captain Aaron Judge is confident he'll return to the lineup this season despite being sidelined with a fractured rib for the past six weeks.

While Judge has been adamant about his return, saying "Definitely" when asked if he would be back before the season ends, doctors are still waiting for his fractured rib to heal completely. The star outfielder recently underwent additional imaging during the All-Star break and reported feeling "ten times better" than when first injured on June 2.

Though the fracture has shown "positive" healing progress, Judge has not been cleared for baseball activities yet. He can currently only engage in lower-body work like walking on an incline treadmill, as even riding a bike was deemed too stressful for his ribs. The Yankees are waiting for Dr. Gregory Pearl's opinion on the latest images to determine when Judge can begin baseball activities. grenadier.co.za
